Maya is a student at Barnard College studying cellular/ molecular biology. Having worked in the Vasan Lab since high school, Maya is passionate about cancer research and hopes to pursue a career in the field. In the lab, she is working with Hanna on her research on CRISPR-Cas9 base editing. Outside of the lab, she loves music, exploring the city’s food landscape and spending time with her two Shih Tzus.
