Cheung (Samuel) is a Ph.D. student in the Vasan Lab and Brand Lab. Originally from Hong Kong and the San Francisco Bay Area, he graduated cum laude from Colby College in 2025 with a B.A. in Biology. For his Ph.D. research, Samuel is studying genetic vulnerabilities to pan-RAS(ON) inhibitor and characterizing the Tribbles pseudokinases in human stem cell quiescence regulation and human cancers.
